What We Do

The Kewaskum Kiwanis Club is committed to serving the local community—especially children—through meaningful projects and volunteer efforts. Our club supports and organizes a variety of initiatives throughout the year, including:

  • Scholarships for graduating high school seniors
  • Support for local schools and youth programs
  • Annual community events
  • Park improvements and beautification projects
  • Fundraisers that give back directly to Kewaskum families and organizations

As part of Kiwanis International, we are proud to be a part of a global effort to improve the lives of children, one child at a time.

iPads For Autism Program

The Kewaskum Kiwanis Club actively participates in the Wisconsin Upper Michigan Kiwanis District’s “iPads for Autism” initiative, a program designed to enhance communication and learning for children on the autism spectrum. This initiative provides iPads equipped with specialized apps and protective cases to children in need, significantly improving their ability to interact with family members, educators, and peers.

Kiwanis ‘n Cops ‘n Kids Book Program

The Kewaskum Kiwanis Club participates in the Kiwanis ‘n Cops ‘n Kids program, a community-driven initiative that promotes children’s literacy and fosters positive relationships between youth and law enforcement. This program, introduced in 2020 by the Wisconsin-Upper Michigan Kiwanis District Governor Jean Long Manteufel, was inspired by the original Cops ‘n Kids program founded in Racine, Wisconsin, in 1997.

Students of the Month Program

The Kewaskum Kiwanis Club honors outstanding students through its Student of the Month program, celebrating individuals who demonstrate exceptional qualities such as academic excellence, leadership, and community involvement. Each month, students from Kewaskum High School are selected based on nominations from teachers and school staff.
